International Centre for Nonviolent Conflict (ICNC), FORUT (Campaign for Development and Solidarity, Norway), and Foundation for Rural and Urban Transformation (FoRUT), co-hosted a training on People Power Approaches to Good Governance and Fighting Corruption in Sierra Leone in May 2016. People Power Movement – Sierra Leone (PPM-SL) was formed by some of the civil society organizations (CSOs) that attended the workshop to implement the Action Plan that was developed at the close of the workshop. PPM-SL has three district chapters: Bo, Kenema, and Bombali Chapters. District Chapters have their governance structure and work with other CSOs and individuals.
